About Badr Zemrani and SendCleanly
Who writes these guides, why, and how they are made.
My background
I have worked in digital marketing for more than 15 years. I run BZCOM, a communication and digital marketing agency based in Casablanca, Morocco, where my team and I handle SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), email marketing and offline distribution campaigns for businesses.
Email marketing is the part of my work where I see the biggest gap between what people read online and what actually happens when you press "send". I have seen well-designed campaigns land in spam because of a missing DNS record, and simple plain-text emails outperform expensive templates because the list was clean and engaged.
Why I created SendCleanly
Most email marketing content online is either written by software vendors promoting their own product, or by generalist writers who have never managed a real list. I wanted a place where the advice is practical, tested and honest, including about what does not work.
The name says it all: send cleanly. Clean lists, clean authentication, clean practices. In my experience, that is what gets emails into the inbox and keeps them there.
How the guides are written
- Every guide is based on processes I use with clients, not on theory alone.
- Technical rules (Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft sender requirements) are checked against the providers' own documentation.
- Guides are updated when the rules change. The update date is shown at the top of each article.
- Tool recommendations are limited to tools I use myself. Some links are affiliate links, as explained in the affiliate disclosure. This never changes what I recommend.
